Katherine Heigl Talks “Unforgettable” On “GMA” (VIDEO)
Katherine Heigl appeared on Thursday’s “Good Morning America,” where she spoke about her new movie, Unforgettable. Watch the full “GMA” interview below!
The actress sat down for a one-on-one interview with Michael Strahan on the morning show about her role in the upcoming thriller, Unforgettable. On playing an “evil” character, Heigl said, “It was fun. I know that sounds strange. There’s a weird freedom to playing a woman who is really not a people pleaser, who is not trying to make people happy, who is not bending over backwards for other people’s needs.” She continued, “It’s all about Tessa, and what she wants.”
Heigl went on to talk about her particularly groomed style in the movie. “It’s really uncomfortable. You have to sit so straight when you’re wearing tight dresses all the time,” she noted. “You have to suck it in and hold your shoulders back, and the hair was always so meticulously groomed, so at night it was all about putting it back in a pony tail and putting my leggings on.”
The actress then spoke about her newborn baby and her guilt over being a working mom. “It’s been a whirlwind year. Right now, it’s especially complicated because the girls are in school, so they’re staying home, but the baby needs me to eat. So he comes with me,” Heigl said. “I feel this perpetual mommy guilt, that somehow you’re not nailing it. And to mess up his schedule to travel because of me and my work needs, feels a little selfish. But honestly, I’m going to smack myself and get over that, because I’m doing my very best.” Watch Heigl’s full interview below!
