Reese Witherspoon, Nicole Kidman NOT Feuding, Despite Late And Wrong Report
Reese Witherspoon and Nicole Kidman are NOT feuding, despite yet another inaccurate report. Gossip Cop can bust this claim. We’re told it’s not true.
According to the New York Daily News, Witherspoon is “furious” with Kidman for failing to promote their new HBO show, “Big Little Lies.” A so-called “source” is quoted as saying, “Reese is furious that Nicole hasn’t done more to support ‘Big Little Lies.’” The outlet’s dubious insider further purports, “Had Reese known that Nicole would put the show so far on the backburner, she would have cast some random.” “Reese Witherspoon expects loyalty from her longtime friends on and off set,” adds the tabloid.
Gossip Cop, however, already debunked this seemingly fabricated report when Star made the same inaccurate claim only days ago. The often disproven tabloid falsely alleged Witherspoon and Kidman were feuding, but an impeccable source close to the situation exclusively assured us the costars get on perfectly fine both on and off set, and that the publication’s story is “completely made-up.”
What’s more, the tabloid newspaper failed to mention that Kidman, alongside Witherspoon, is one of the executive producers for “Big Little Lies,” and is clearly interested in its success. The New York Daily News lazily picked up a Daily Mail story that lazily picked up a New Idea story that lazily picked up a Star story, all without fact-checking. It’s simply fake news.
