Gwen Stefani NOT Adopting Baby Girl, Despite Late And Wrong Report
Gwen Stefani is NOT secretly adopting a baby girl, despite a late and wrong report that Gossip Cop already debunked. We can once again correct this false claim.
According to RadarOnline, the singer “has always daydreamed about having a little girl” in addition to her three boys. The webloid references an inaccurate In Touch story claiming Stefani has put a plan in place to adopt a daughter before Christmas. A so-called “source” told the magazine, “Gwen is considering not just an infant, but children under the age of 5.”
The outlet further regurgitates a quote from the tabloid’s supposed insider, who said Stefani wants a “little girl she can dress up and play dolls with and do all the things she hasn’t experienced as a mom to her sons.” The site goes on to purport that the singer has yet to tell boyfriend Blake Shelton about her adoption scheme, but will tell him soon over a “private romantic dinner,” and hopes he’ll be on board with her decision.
Only, Gossip Cop checked in with a rep for the singer last week when In Touch published this bogus report about Stefani adopting a baby girl, and we were exclusively assured the claim is 100 percent “untrue.” Nothing has changed in the time since. Of course, we have repeatedly called out RadarOnline for its many phony stories about the singer, so this latest fabrication comes as no surprise.
Gossip Cop recently busted the site’s tall tale about Stefani and Shelton fighting over “The Voice.” We also corrected the webloid for wrongly reporting that Stefani and Shelton’s wedding was on hold over his drinking. There was no truth to either of those stories, and the same goes for this latest one.
