American Girl Has Officially Introduced Its First-Ever Boy Doll
For the first time in American Girl history, the company has officially unveiled its first-ever boy doll. The 18-inch doll is named Logan Everett, and he’s a hip musician who performs with another new American Girl doll Tenny Grant.
“A boy character has been a top request from our fans for decades,” American Girl spokeswoman Stephanie Spanos told USA Today. “We’re hopeful Logan will appeal to both girls and boys… For boys, we know Logan can speak directly to them and give them something unique and special to call their own.”
The news is part of the company’s push towards more diverse characters. According to their website, American Girl will soon release a Korean-American doll named Z Yang and a Hawaiian doll named Nanea.
Well on that note!
Sorry, I couldn’t resist.
